85 % 0f Malwares defeated by Windows 8

Popular Security Software Manufacturer, BitDefender have done a small test using Microsoft’s newly launched Operating System named "Windows 8" & they found that the Microsoft's newly Launched OS Window 8 is prone to infection by some 15 per cent of the 100 malware families that are mostly been used by cyber criminals this year, even with Windows Defender activated in your System.

The test that they conducted showed that Microsoft’s newly launched Operating System Windows 8 was infected by 61 malware threats of 385 of the most popular malware samples in a controlled test carried out by the leading virus researchers over the past week.

Of the 385 malicious virus samples, 234 ran successfully Windows 8 when tested without Windows Defender activated in the system. Our of the remaining 138 samples could not be started on the machine installed with Windows 8 for various reasons, 6 threats executed but then crashed, and 7 others threats launched but they had their payload blocked by User Account Control (UAC).
